Before they arrive Their guide reaches out before landing day. A short introductory message, a welcome, and an open door. They arrive knowing someone is already in their corner.
Week one A 45-minute welcome call. Their guide learns what matters most to them — their neighbourhood, their priorities, their worries. Nothing is too small.
Weeks two to six Daily availability via message for whatever comes up — GP registration, understanding their tenancy agreement, finding a gym, navigating the commute. Real answers from someone who knows London.
Months two to six Fortnightly video calls to check in properly. As practical questions ease, the support shifts — building a social life, finding community, genuinely feeling at home.

Before they arrive A short briefing call with us. You tell us about your hire — their background, their role, anything that might shape their experience. We take it from there.
Every month A simple one-page progress report. What’s been covered, how your hire is settling, anything worth knowing. Enough to feel informed, nothing that wastes your time.
Throughout One point of contact for any questions or concerns. No chasing, no confusion, no dropped balls.
At six months A close-out summary and the option to extend if your hire needs it.

Which cities do you cover?
We’re launching in London, with Manchester and Edinburgh to follow. If your hire is joining you outside London, get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.
How do you select your guides?
Every guide goes through a careful vetting process — a written application, a video introduction, and a live interview. We look for warmth, deep local knowledge, and genuine investment in helping people settle.
What if the match isn’t right?
It’s rare, but if your hire and their guide aren’t working well together we’ll rematch within five working days. No questions asked.
What doesn’t Hestera cover?
We’re not immigration lawyers, therapists, or property agents. If your hire needs specialist support in any of those areas we’ll point them in the right direction — but those services sit outside what we do.
